Jonny Proppe

Hi, I am Jonny! My research focuses on the interface between quantum chemistry, uncertainty quantification, and machine learning to assess and improve the predictive power of molecular models. Currently, I am a postdoctoral associate of the DFG-funded RTG 2455 "BENCh" at Georg-August University in Göttingen, Germany. Previously, I joined the labs of Alán Aspuru-Guzik at Harvard University and the University of Toronto (SNSF postdoctoral fellow), Markus Reiher at ETH Zürich (doctoral student), Eddy Hansen at the University of Oslo (Erasmus fellow), and Carmen Herrmann at the University of Hamburg (master student). I am thrilled by the idea of advancing the university curriculum. In my spare time, I find fascination in the crafting of beer.
